Dr Virginie Dalcq

A lifelong fascination with toys didn't prevent Virginie from making a detour into medicine. Her medical experience is centred on children with multiple disabilities.

Virginie has accumulated five years' experience working with disabled people and in particular with people who have multiple disabilities and mental disabilities.

Having obtained a medical degree, wanting to learn more about pedagogy, Virginie studied educational science.

Throughout that time, her interest in toys remained dormant but came back to the foreground following the birth of her daughters, Lilou and Sasha.

Ludiloo is at the crossroads of all these paths!

Ludiloo benefits from all the different expertise and values which underpin its creation. Ludiloo offers high-quality toys which aim to help all children develop and learn.

Although learning through play is of undeniable value in the context of teaching or rehabilitation, Ludiloo aims to be a playful little educational world where, rather than playing in order to learn, children learn because they are playing!

Play helps us get to know our bodies, our skills and our limits. Ludiloo toys are therefore chosen so that children are in an active relationship with a toy.

Apart from their educational aspects, Ludiloo is very demanding about the quality of their toys, about design and being environmentally-friendly.

Convinced that the world of play belongs to all children, Ludiloo has developed a special approach so that all children have access to it, whether or not they have a disability. So according to their abilities and tastes, every child can find the right toy for them. At Ludiloo, there’s a toy for everyone!
